I really loved lobster wraps and calamari! The ambiance is great . Kirby and the other servers were very well trained and kind. Definitely coming back!

Alfie, our waiter was the best. He was so knowledgeable and personable. A true gem. We got the crab cake appetizer, fish & chips (perfectly and lightly breaded). Awesome marinated pickles. Got the tiger prawns with spaghetti. So flavorful. If I tell you I died and went to heaven after eating the butterscotch dessert, I wouldn't be lying. Sensational. Such a great dining experience. Loved this restaurant.

This is my second time dining at Market in St. Helena, and frankly, I'd be here more often if it wasn't such a trek from Napa. But let's get to the point - the food here is genuinely great. We kicked things off with the Tuna Tartare. No complaints, just pure, deliciousness. My wife, acting on my parents' recommendation, went for the organic fried chicken. Is it the best fried chicken ever? Not exactly, but it holds its own pretty well. As for me, I went with the grilled filet mignon, ordered medium. It came out as requested, though a touch more salt would've elevated it. The real star, however, was the dessert. The butterscotch pudding is an absolute showstopper. 10/10. I'd come back just for that alone.

Came here with lunch reservations and ordered the fried chicken with the cornbread cake and mashed potatoes. It was a pretty decent size and I shared that with my sister. It wasn't as flavorful as I wanted it to be, but it hit the spot and it wasn't too bad. My sister had the chopped salad with the steak and that was pretty good. Overall, it was excellent service given by Megan and she was so kind and prompt with everything. The prices are Saint Helena so don't take down any stars for that, I would definitely come here again.

Food selection was great. Most food was excellent. Service was fantastic. The place is a bit small and crowded but it works ok. It's off the main drag, so you get a view of the street and cars driving by, if you are into that sort of thing. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, and the food was good, but the price was a bit much for what we got. I think there is better value out there.

Another visit to this go to spot for us. Came alone and was seated at a nice table close to the front. Nice salad to start and great halibut entree.

I really enjoyed my visit at this lively restaurant last night. The service was top notch and the employees were friendly and helpful with questions and food recommendations. All the dishes I tried were very good and had some amazing flavors. For a Tuesday night this place was packed, and for good reason. This restaurant has a casual elegant about it, very beautifully decorated.

First time at Market last evening. Had never noticed it in St. Helena Main Street but they've been there for almost two decades. The bar backdrop is beautiful. An old wooden arch that had been in storage for over 70 years and brought back to life. Walls are rock lined. A very inviting ambiance. There were 4 of us in our party. Two of us got the filet mignon, one the pork chop, and one the braised lamb shank . The filet was nothing special, my boyfriend said the lamb shank was tasty yet dry, but the star of the show was the pork chop. We all tasted and it thumbs up won! Cooked perfectly with just a bit of pink still inside the meat had excellent flavor. I believe they said it was Duroc pork. All meals came with accompaniments so found it affordable. The garlic-potato au gratin was really good. We shared their signature butterscotch pudding at the end and it was the perfect ending to the meal. Our waiter Alfie was very attentive and very passionate about the food and the restaurant overall!

Solid classics. Easy street parking. Good food & service. My friends enjoyed their BBQ and fried chicken. I liked my prime rib. Complimentary bread is always a winner. The molten lava cake was room temp and I wish it was served warmer for that oooey gooey chocolate filling to ooze out, but it was too room temp and not as satisfying as it could have been. However, the cake paired with hazelnut gelato was sooo good. I was full but couldn't stop eating it! This isn't a place I would drive out of my way for, but it is solid and if I'm the area I will definitely be back.

Service. - prompt and efficient Parking - tough in Main Street. Look for parking in side streets and a block over Food - chicken sando was delicious. Nice pepper topping and cooked perfectly. Prime rib was good. Horseradish cream is mild so if you want spicy you'll need to ask something extra
